the A40 and the North: Take the A361 south from Burford through
Lechlade towards Swindon. Climb the hill into Highworth: you will see the
Methodist Church on your left almost opposite a garage on the right. You cannot turn
left at this point, so turn left at the traffic lights. Park in the High Street
or Market Place; follow Sheep Street / Vicarage Lane to pass behind the
Parish Church to the newer Methodist Church.
From the M4 or South: At M4 junction 15 (Swindon) take the
A419 north towards Cirencester. Go straight over the first large
roundabout and take the third slip road onto the A361 into
Highworth. As you enter Highworth you will pass a Shell garage. At
the small roundabout by The Fox pub go straight over. At the traffic
lights, turn right. Park in the High Street or Market Place;
follow Sheep Street / Vicarage Lane to pass behind the
Parish Church to the newer Methodist Church.
From Oxford and the East: Highworth is off the main A420
from Oxford to Swindon. Shortly after passing Shrivenham 100
Business Park on your left take the B4508 minor road into
Highworth. At the small roundabout by The Fox pub take the second
exit. At the traffic lights, turn right. Park in the High
Street or Market Place; follow directions as above.
From the M5: Follow the A419 towards Swindon. After
climbing Blunsdon Hill, take the B4019 (left) at The Cold Harbour
pub. Follow the road into Highworth, go straight on at the traffic
lights. Park in the High Street or Market Place; follow directions as above.
